Ian has now been writing for the last ten years, publishing his first two books, a two part anthology in September 2009 and October 2011.

With the imminent publication of his third book Being Gay Being Bi Whatever this summer and the special Christmas edition of The Four Seasons in the Autumn, he has five other manuscripts that are now completed and a novel entitled In the Beginning scheduled for 2012-2013.

A career that spans the police service, the legal profession and the Royal Air Force, with the popularity of his work and the encouragement of many people in those moments of doubt, Ian has now embarked upon a new career as a full time writer and is based in Liverpool on the famous Waterfront.

In all his work, he writes with the passion and verve of his adopted people and City, Liverpool.
